1-to-1 Co-Parenting Coaching

Personalized · Zoom or Phone
Mother and child face to face in a tender sunset moment, the kind of present, regulated parenting that 1-to-1 coaching builds

Life coaching provides you with the tools to take your ordinary life and make it extraordinary. Michelle works mostly with parents involved with a high-conflict co-parent, teaching them how to disengage from attempts to stay in an over-enmeshed, toxic dynamic.

Unlike therapy, which dives into your past to uncover painful experiences, coaching focuses on the present moment, which changes attitudes formed from past experiences. Coaching gets you in touch with what your true essential self wants out of life. Michelle asks powerful questions to help you find the answers you already have.

Sessions are psychoeducational and skills-based. You leave each one with practical tools you can use this week, not next month, grounded in nervous system regulation, SAFE™ + BIFF® communication, and parallel parenting.

With 20+ years as a California litigator*, 20 years as a Martha Beck Certified Wayfinder Coach, New Ways for Families® Certified Instructor (HCI), trained in Peter Levine’s Somatic Experiencing®, and her own lived experience finding her way out of a high-conflict co-parenting situation, Coach Michelle brings deep empathy, expertise, and strategy to every session. 1-to-1 Co-Parenting Coaching helps parents regain control, protect their peace, and strengthen their connection with their children, even in the most challenging situations.

"When co-parenting becomes a battleground, peace can feel impossible. You're not alone. and you don't have to keep surviving in chaos."
  • Disengage from conflict and protect your peace
  • Implement a parallel parenting model that minimizes contact and emotional drain
  • Strengthen your bond with your children through emotional attunement and consistency
  • Understand how the legal system impacts high-conflict dynamics
  • Shift from a win-lose mindset to self-regulation, steadiness, and real agency
*Coach Michelle does not practice family law and will not be working with you as an attorney, but her training and experience as an attorney enhance her understanding of high conflict. She often works hand-in-hand with the client's attorney.

"
Michelle was instrumental in helping me navigate a high-conflict divorce where the mother of my young children chose to have very little contact with the kids for almost nine months. I highly recommend you hire Michelle as your coach — I am very confident it will be one of the smartest decisions you will make.

Michelle has been a Godsend for myself and my family. After several sessions, I was able to establish solid boundaries and develop coping mechanisms for triggering situations. My family and I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel — we couldn't have done it without Michelle's help.

Frequently asked

What happens in a 1-to-1 coaching session?
Each session is 60 minutes via Zoom. We work on a specific situation you're facing, like a hostile message, an upcoming exchange, a court filing, an alienation attempt, and build the exact response or strategy. Sessions are tactical, not exploratory. You leave with scripts, decisions, and clarity.
How many sessions do most clients need?
It depends on case intensity. Some clients book a single session for a specific crisis. Most book in packages of 5 ($1,050) or 10 ($2,025) and meet weekly to biweekly. High-conflict cases with active litigation often need ongoing support; calmer cases may resolve in a few sessions.
Is this confidential?
Yes. Coaching conversations are private between you and Coach Michelle. Coaching is not legal advice or therapy and Michelle is not your attorney in this role. Notes are kept secure and never shared without written consent.
Can my coach testify in court?
Coach Michelle does not appear as a witness in custody cases. Her role is to prepare you, not to testify. If you need an expert witness or evaluator, she can refer you to qualified professionals.
